Duties and Responsibilities

- Suggest treatment options to medical practitioners.
- Generate detailed pathology reports indicating the results and final diagnoses of tested specimens.
- Researching to find innovative treatments for disease as well as to improve testing methods and identification procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, physical sciences, or a similar field.
- MD or DO degree.
- 4 to 7 years of residency training with a specialization in pathology.
- Successful completion of USMLE or COMLEX-USA.
- Certification by the American Board of Pathology.
- Valid medical license.
