Nursing Aide Duties & Responsibilities

- Review patient dietary preferences and restrictions and ensure they receive an appropriate diet.
- Record vital signs as requested by other staff.
- Examine patients to detect any issues requiring medical assistance, including bruises, blood in urine, or open wounds.
- Remind patients to take medications and other supplements on time.
Nursing Aide Requirements
- State certified nursing assistant certification.
- Nursing degree is an asset.
- Current CPR training.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nurse’s aide.
