Our church is seeking a passionate worship leader to help assist the musical coordination of our Sunday services. The worship leader will set an example for the congregation by leading their efforts toward god and receiving His gifts. The main responsibility of the worship leader is to set an example and coordinate singing, music, and instrumentalists to provide a powerful and impactful worship experience for the worship pastor, senior pastor, and other members of the church. This position works closely with the church administrator, church director, and senior pastor.
Worship Leader Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide leadership, vision, and passion for song and the music of our worship ministries. Set the tone of the song and worship to align with the purpose and mission of the church.

- Plan and implement special events outside of Sunday worship services.
- Assist with rehearsal, assisting instrumentalists, and ensuring weekly rehearsals are scheduled and ready for the music ministry services on Sunday’s.
- Work closely with the church staff and team to coordinate the worship music and overall worship experience for those practicing their faith and commitment to the bible on Sunday morning.
- Find a replacement musician in the event that a volunteer is unavailable.
- Set an example of how god can make an impact on our lives through moral purity, spiritual formation, a positive attitude on life, and setting an example for the spiritual growth that comes with being a worship leader.
- Be available each Sunday for the worship service, be part of the worship team, coordinate with worship team members and pastor to deliver a contemporary worship experience for the members of the church.
- Be able to work closely with the choir team, coordinate each vocalist, and practice each new song the choir team doesn’t know.
Worship Leader Requirements
Qualified candidates should have the following:
- A member of the church.
- Previous experience coordinating musical groups is a plus.
- Must be available weekdays and weekends to dedicate to the coordination of the sermon.
