Diagnosing mold is a serious problem. If you see issues in the drywall you need to immediately open up the drywall to see if there are any additional problems behind it. When the mold surfaces onto the drywall itself that can mean there are greater problems behind the surface. And you don’t want that lingering or staying in that area for long. That could cause health issues. Opening a small square of the drywall will let us see if there are any additional problems we need to be aware of.
