How to Access Verizon Email (2022 Fix)
You may wonder how to access your email account if you are a Verizon customer. Here is a guide on how to do so, whether using a computer or mobile device. Note that if you have multiple accounts with Verizon, you will need to log in separately for each. Additionally, please be aware that some features may not be available on all devices.
How To Access Verizon Email
You can't access your Verizon email anymore. This is because Verizon is no longer offering email services to its customers. However, you can still access your account through other email providers, such as AOL, Gmail, or Yahoo, and use your Verizon email address with them.
In 2017 Verizon migrated its email accounts to AOL, so if you are trying to access your email account, you will need to go to the AOL login page. If you are a Verizon customer and no longer have email service, you can still access your account through other providers, such as AOL, Gmail, or Yahoo.
To login to your Verizon email account:
Verizon with AOL:
Visit the AOL login page. Enter your Verizon email address in the Username or Email field. Enter your password in the Password field. Click the Sign In button.
If you are having trouble logging in, you can click the Forgot Password link to reset your password. Once you are logged in, you can view and manage your email messages.
The process is slightly different if you log in to your Verizon email account on a mobile device. Instead of going to the AOL login page, you will need to download the AOL app. Once the app is installed, please open it and enter your Verizon email address and password. Tap the Sign In button to log in.
Once you are logged in, you can view and manage your email messages. You can also compose new emails, attach files, and add attachments. Some features may not be available on all devices. For example, the AOL app for Android does not support email fetch, which means you will not be able to retrieve new messages automatically. However, you can still check for new announcements manually by tapping the Refresh button.
Verizon Email with Yahoo
Some Verizon email subscribers have already switched to Yahoo from their email accounts. Those users can access their accounts by going to the Yahoo login page. Enter your Verizon email address in the Username or Email field. Enter your password in the Password field. Click the Sign In button.
Verizon Email with a third-party email provider
To access your Verizon email account, you must set up your account with that provider if you use a third-party provider, such as Gmail or Microsoft Outlook. While entering the account information, use your full email address as the username, including the "@verizon.net" part.
Visit the Gmail login page. Click the Create Account button. Enter your Verizon email address in the Email field. Enter a password for your account. Click the Next button. Follow the prompts to finish setting up your account.
This method will allow you to access your email through your iPhone.
You can use Outlook to access your Verizon email account. Here are the steps to configure your Verizon email addresses in Outlook:
- Open Outlook and Click the File tab.
- Click the Add Account button.
- Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- Click the Next button and select Internet Email.
- Click the Next button.
- Enter your name in the Your Name field and Enter your Verizon email address in the Email Address field.
- Select IMAP for the Account Type. In the incoming mail server field, enter "incoming.verizon.net." In the outgoing mail server (SMTP) field, enter "outgoing.verizon.net." Enter your Verizon email address in the User Name field. Enter your password in the Password field.
- Click the More Settings button. In the Outgoing Server tab, select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checkbox. Select the Use the same settings in the same tab as my incoming mail server checkbox.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Next button and then Click the Finish button.
Verizon Login issues
You can try a few things if you are having trouble logging in to your Verizon email account.
- Make sure that you are using the correct login credentials. While entering the password, take care of uppercase and lowercase letters because the password is case-sensitive.
- If you have forgotten the password, you can try resetting your password. To do this, click the Forgot Password link on the login page. Enter your Verizon email address and follow the prompts to reset your password.
- Try a different device or browser to log in to your Verizon account.
You can contact Verizon customer support for help if you still have trouble logging in.
