A cook is someone who works as part of a restaurant establishment. They are someone who helps to ensure that all food preparation happens in the correct way. Cooks are oftentimes referred to as chefs. But may also assist the head chef in certain circumstances. If they are assistants to the chef, the cook is someone who operates a particular station and is in control of one food group for the evening.
